As we wish Mr Sgambati and Ms Brooks a fond farewell to begin their new adventures in other schools, we would like to thank them for their dedication and time in Year 4. The Year 4’s and the Greenvale Primary community wish Mr Sgambati and Ms Brooks all the best as they begin this exciting, new chapter in their lives. With that being said, we would like to welcome Mrs De Young, Mrs Lord and Ms Ryan to the wonderful Year 4 team.

Narelle DeYoung:
I joined the staff of Greenvale Primary School this year. I have loved getting to know all of the students and am looking forward to working with the Year 4’s. My role at Greenvale involves working in the grade for three days, and leading the Literacy curriculum on the other two days. I have three teenagers, ranging in age from 15 to 19, and two dogs. I have been lucky enough to work in a couple of different schools, working in all Grades Foundation-Year 6. Please don’t be a stranger, come and say hello, I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know your children.

Sarah Lord:
Hi! My name is Sarah Lord and I am teaching 4ZB in Semester 2. I am very excited to be teaching 4ZB and being part of the Year 4 team!
I have been teaching at Greenvale Primary School for 6 years, my last role being with the Tutoring Program. I really enjoy working with Greenvale students and helping them achieve their personal and learning goals. I look forward to helping 4ZB students achieve their goals and having an amazing second semester!

Jennifer Ryan:
Hello to the Greenvale Primary School Community. My name is Jennifer Ryan and I will be the classroom teacher in year 4JA for the rest of this year. I have a number of years’ experience in teaching middle and upper primary students, with special interests in the areas of Mathematics and student wellbeing. Personally, I love to spend time with my family, and I feel a strong connection to the Australian natural environment. I love to research my family history and learn about the different cultures and lifestyles that have influenced my family. I look forward to working with the students in Year 4JA and helping them to achieve some great academic and personal goals.
