Greenvale District Athletics
On Friday 11th of August, Greenvale Primary School traveled to Meadowglen Athletics Track to compete in the Greenvale District Athletics Carnival. We took 72 students competing in the following events: Shot Put, Discus, Triple Jump, Long Jump, running races and Relay.
The students of Greenvale showed great sportsmanship and pride during the day, being respectful to their opponents and to the judges. Overall it was a fantastic day by the school to show our school values.
From the day, Greenvale P.S had 43 students qualify for the next level of competition, Woodlands Division Athletics Carnival. An amazing achievement, one that the school is very proud of.
Those students will compete on Tuesday 5th of September back at Meadowglen Athletics Track. Congratulations to all the winners on the day!
