The F-2 students have had a busy term in the Art Room! We have focused on drawing, painting and collage to create mixed media artworks. We also experimented with the skills and techniques of modelling with clay.
Foundation Clay Caterpillars. We learnt to roll, cut, fold and add texture to our clay.
Foundation Line Lanterns. We learnt about different types of lines and how to use them in our artwork.
Foundation Zebras. We learnt about texture, line and contrast. We practised our painting, drawing and cutting skills.
Year 1&2 Clay Animal Faces. We learnt to how to ‘slip and score’ our clay so that it joins together properly.
Year 1&2 Science Week Self Portraits. We practised observational drawing and drawing 3D shapes. We experimented with mixing primary colours in our science beakers.
