During Term 3 and 4, Greenvale Primary school competed in various Hot Shot tennis tournaments. Here are our results across the terms!
District Hot Shots
On Friday 12th of September, Greenvale Primary School participated in the Greenvale District Hot Shot Tennis tournament. This was held at Greenvale Tennis Club, the school took both a boys/mixed and girls’ team in the event. Students played against 5 other schools in singles and doubles matches.
Both boys’ and girls’ teams performed amazingly well, both going through the competition undefeated and qualifying for the Woodlands Division Hot Shots event in Term 4.
Congratulations to both teams, all students were exceptional in showing the school values and had a fantastic time. See some of the action shots for the day!
Division Tennis Finals
On Tuesday, October 21st, 20 of our talented Year 5/6 students proudly represented Greenvale Primary School at the Woodlands Division Hot Shots Tennis Finals, held at the Merrifield Tennis Club.
With both the Boys/Mixed and Girls tournaments running side by side, our students faced off against five other schools in a series of exciting and hard-fought matches. The Boys/Mixed team showed fantastic skill, teamwork, and determination — going through the entire day undefeated to claim the title of Woodlands Division Champions!
The Girls’ team also delivered an outstanding performance. Knowing they needed a win in their final match to take out the championship, they rose to the occasion in style — securing victory and finishing the day undefeated as well!
Both teams have now qualified for the North Metro Region Finals, where they’ll proudly represent Greenvale once again.

Region Hot Shot Finals
On Friday 7th November, Greenvale Primary School’s Boys and Girls Tennis Teams represented our school with pride at the North Metro Region Tennis Hot Shots Tournament.
Both teams competed against five other schools in their respective divisions for a chance to advance to the State Championships.
The Boys Team faced a challenging draw, showing great determination throughout the day. They finished strong with a win in their final match, securing 5th place overall.
The Girls Team demonstrated fantastic teamwork and skill, recording one win and one loss in their group matches before finishing 4th overall after a close play-off match.
Making it to this stage is a remarkable achievement, with Greenvale surpassing over 200 schools to qualify for the Regional Tournament!
We are immensely proud of both teams for their effort, sportsmanship, and the way they represented Greenvale Primary School.
