During Term 3 and 4, Greenvale Primary School competed at Athletics events across District, Division and Region level. Here is a snapshot of Athletics for 2025!
District Athletics
On Friday 22nd of August, the Greenvale District Athletics Carnival was held at Meadowglen Athletics track. Greenvale Primary School had a squad of 67 students competing on the day. Students competed in the shot put, discus, long jump, triple jump, high jump, hurdles, relay and running events.
Students competing who finished 1st or 2nd during the event qualify for the Woodlands Division Athletics Carnival later this month. Greenvale Primary had 37 students qualified! A monumental achievement which the school is extremely proud of. Because of such a strong result, Greenvale were crowned District Champions!
Congratulations to all students who competed and displayed all the school values during the day.
Division Athletics
On Tuesday 16th of September, Greenvale Primary School had 38 students represent the school at the Woodlands Division Athletics Carnival. Students competed in various events, including Shot Put, Discus, Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, and various running events.
Students from year 4 to 6 had an amazing time and the school has had 6 students qualified for the North Metro Regional Athletics Carnival in Term 4. Congratulations to the following students and congratulations to all students who made it to Division level, it is a monumental achievement!

Region Athletics
On Wednesday 15th of October, Greenvale Primary School had 6 representatives at the North Metro Region Athletics Carnival. Students qualified for this event from finishing 1st or 2nd at Division Athletics. Making it to this level of competition is an enormous achievement, qualifying out of over 200 schools!
