Throughout Term 2, students in Year 6 have been learning about 3D Objects and understanding how to construct prisms and pyramids using their NETS and also understanding the properties of these shapes. In order to learn about the construction of various shapes, students were asked to create a Mini City. Students worked together in groups to create a design with various 3D shapes and follow specific requirements which involved using different NET shapes. This also included creating coordinates and a key to locate specific building on their Mini City.
