Over Term 3, the Year 3 students have been working incredibly hard in Writing to create their own Information Report. As a link to our Inquiry topic this term of ‘More than Meets the Eye’ students choose an Inventor of their choice to research information and facts to create their own Information Report. Students learnt about the features and structure of an Information Report and explored the language used in this type of writing. The Year 3 cohort spent a number of weeks researching, planning, drafting and editing their piece of writing. They then turned their draft into a good copy to create a completed piece in the format of a trifold.
