In 2020, our current year 6 students were involved in the Schools for Nature garden project. I am happy to say that with the assistance of Miss Costa, Joe and the gardening club, we have installed some bee and bug hotels throughout the school. These were made by the Mens Shed in Craigieburn.
Jordan from 6SC and Setayesh from 5/6W were the combined winners of a name the garden competition and the custom-made sign has been attached to a rock cage and placed in the garden bed at the front of the school. We hope that our “Manerlong Native Garden” will continue to be the “Ultimate Place for Pollinators.”
