Year 6 Camp – Thursday

We woke up to a warm and windy day where we all had to practise our great Aussie salute to keep the flies away. Armed with lots of sunscreen we headed to our activities with one change. our Kayakers became Boogie Boarders. The cool change was a brief shower that brought relief from the heat and we continued on. for our last night at camp we feasted on chicken schnitzel, roast vegies and yummy salads, topped off with ice cream cones. Tonight we will be putting on our disco gear to party the night away.

Lunch was hamburgers, then we headed to the beach for an afternoon of sun, sand and surf (well not really surf, more like ripples) Dinner was snitzel, roast potatoes and salad followed by chocolate ripple cake. Then the rain arrived so we all settled down to watch a movie in our PJ’s.

We then changed into our beach gear and hit the water, a light drizzle didn’t stop us from having a great time. As the clouds started to build we headed back to camp for afternoon tea, showers, a thunder storm and some indoor games. Dinner was fish and chips and your choice of the most delicious salads you could dream of, followed by ice cream cake for desert. Don’t forget to check in each night to find out what has been happening at camp

Year 5 Phillip Island Adventure Resort Camp

Year 5 Camp

On Tuesday the 9th of October the Year 5 cohort went to Phillip Island Adventure Resort. Students enjoyed a range of activities such as the giant swing, twin flying fox and the circatron. We also had the opportunity to go to A Maze ’N’ Things where we played mini golf and got lost in the maze.

Year 5 camp was the best camp EVER! My favourite activity was the circatron. Another activity I enjoyed was the giant swing. I personally think that the food was pretty good. We made pancakes on the last day and they were really good!

Year 5 camp in 2018 was my favourite camp I have ever been on! My favourite part was the circitron that astronauts used to train on. Another thing was the disco. We danced to lots of songs and we had a lot of fun. But my favourite part of all was the food. We had amazing meals that always left us full. We had breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

My favourite thing about Year 5 camp was the Twin flying fox because you had an amazing view of Phillip Island. Another
