Year 1 Excursion to South Bank

Throughout term 3, the year 1 students have been learning all about Victoria. They have learnt about states and capital cities, native animals as well as special landmarks found in Melbourne. On Wednesday the 31st of August, all year 1 students were fortunate enough to visit Melbourne to see some of the amazing landmarks. These included; the National Gallery of Victoria, the Arts Centre, Melbourne Star, Flinders Street Station and Federation Square. Students also had the opportunity to travel down the Yarra River on The Yarra Queen Cruise where they travelled under the Bolte Bridge and saw other historical buildings and sights. Students were all very excited and below are some photos showing the wonderful day.
