Principal’s Welcome

I would like to welcome all  members of the Greenvale Primary School community to our website. You will find many links to useful information and resources. Suggestions to improve our website can be forwarded through the school office.

The year is certainly moving along very quickly as we near the end of Term 3. I have indicated in a recent Newsletter that I have decided to complete my time as Principal at Greenvale at the end of this term and move on to the next phase of my working career. Assistant Principal, Mrs Jane Greig-Hancock has been nominated as the Acting Principal for Term 4 while the position is advertised and filled. Jane is an outstanding member of our community and contributes in so many ways to the school. Her responsibilities include: student welfare, daily organisation of the school, curriculum leadership, data management and teaching and learning. I’m sure everyone will give Jane their full support as she takes on the role of Acting Principal.

Don’t forget that it is Sun-smart time which requires all students wearing a broad brimmed hat when outdoors.

We are looking for lots of volunteers this Saturday 7th September to help out with an election day BBQ. Contact the school on 9333 2500 if you can be of assistance. The following Sunday morning, 15th September, we are holding a working bee and BBQ afterwards. There are many jobs requiring parents help. Keep an eye out for an information flyer.

Election Day BBQ

What a fantastic team of parent and teacher helpers we had at the recent Election Day BBQ on September 7th. The BBQ raised over $800 which will be used to improve the facilities of our school for the students.

Parent Involvement in the School

Enjoy your time browsing and remember to make our website your home page!
