Nursing Home visits

Today we visited 4 Nursing Homes in Westmeadows, Tullamarine, Essendon and Meadow Heights. The Senior choir sang Christmas songs to all the elderly citizens of the homes. The staff and Residents of the Nursing Homes were very grateful and asked us to come back again next year.  img_1000 img_1004 img_1014 img_1016

A big thank you to all the students in the School Choir as they’ve worked hard throughout the year, practising the songs during their lunch hours.

Music Count us in song

IMG_0808 IMG_0806 IMG_0802On 29th October 2015 the choir students went to Federation square on a beautiful sunny day to sing the ‘Music Count us in’ song Gold. Our own James gave a speech to around 13 schools, who were also participating, about what music means to him. Thousands of students all around Australia sang and played music to the same song at the same time, including all the Greenvale Primary Students. It’s organised as a celebration of the importance of Music Education in schools.
