Year 5 Wind Energy Projects

Wind Energy Projects

As part of our unit on renewable and non-renewable energy sources, the Year 5 students designed and created a model of a wind-powered machine. They were required to create their model using mainly recycled materials found around the home. Here are some examples of the fantastic projects that were presented:

Crazy Accessories Day – Thank you

Thank you to all of the students who wore their crazy accessories to celebrate the last day of school 2015 and raise money for the ‘Friends of Sammy Joe Foundation.’

I am pleased to announce that we raised a total of $257.35!

Despite the weather, we had many wigs, headbands, sunglasses, caps and other accessories.
