Being curious at school is essential. Here’s what happened when students in Year 5 were challenged to melt an ice cube using equipment on hand.

Boy were our students curious (and excited) to try all sorts of methods to melt their ice quickly and efficiently.

Year 5 & 6 Asylum Seeker Resource Centre Food Bank Donations

Congratulations to all Year 5 and Year 6 students (and teachers) for collecting so many donations for the ASRC Food bank – we have done an AMAZING job. Over $3000 worth of donations were collected. The volunteers at ASRC were overwhelmed with the generosity shown by the Greenvale community.

See the photo of just how much food we collected. OVER 100 shopping bags filled with groceries. What a fantastic effort!

Marvellous Market Day in Year 5

This term the Year 5 students held a highly successful Marvellous Market Day. We made items to sell which included slime, jelly cups and cake pops. It was a fantastic success raising nearly $1900 for charity. We are discussing which charities we will donate this money to…so stay tuned!
